Abstract

1,250,005. Creels. T.M.M. (RESEARCH) Ltd. 30 April, 1969 [6 May, 1968], No. 21365/ 68. Heading D1J. A textile doubling and twisting machine is applied by a creel in its upper part, the creel comprising a plurality of bobbin supporting spindles each of which is inclined downwardly and away from a vertical plane passing through the centre-line of the machine. The bobbin-supporting spindles may be pivoted at one end, and rest with their other ends against adjustable stops, so that the bobbins may be replaced and their inclinations adjusted. Preferably each pair of bobbins is so arranged that their central transverse planes intersect at a yarn guide in the machine.
