Abstract

1,241,861. Lampholders. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. 26 March, 1968 [30 March, 1967], No. 14483/68. Heading H2E. A lampholder 10 is mounted in a panel 26 by passing cams 21, 22 through notches 23 in an aperture 24 and rotating the holder so that it is secured between the cams 21, 22 and shoulders 18, 19; a resilient locking tab 27 being depressed when the holder is inserted, and then springing out into one of the notches, after rotation of the holder, to secure it against further rotation. A baseless bulb (not shown) locates the ends of terminals 16, 17 in the rectangular body 11 of the holder, while the other ends of the terminals 16b, 17b contact printed circuitry on the panel.
