[Also in Division A4] An externally-threaded discharge pipe 10 for a sink &c., having an upper end flange 11 and a nut 12 by which it is secured in a hole in the base of the sink &c., carries at its lower end an internally and externally threaded sleeve 13 with an inwardly-directed lower end flange 14 and a depending skirt 15 to fit within the socket 16 of a trap 17, a nut 19 with a peripheral lip locking the sleeve and trap together. As shown, the skirt 15 may be provided with an upwards extension 15a. The coupling parts may be made of plastics or metal.
