Abstract

941,229. Wall brackets. AMERICAN RADIATOR & STANDARD SANITARY CORPORATION. Oct. 1, 1962 [Dec. 20, 1961], No. 37097/62. Heading A4B. A bracket, for supporting bathroom fixtures 34 e.g. wash basins, comprises an elongated plate 10 secured to a wall 32 and having upwardly an outwardly extending spaced ears 18, 19 on its upper edge, a tapering flange 36 of the fixtures located behind the ears 18, 19 and firmly secured by yieldable means extending between and centrally of the lower edge of the plate 10 and the flange 36. The yieldable means comprises a resilient angle member 48 engaged behind an indentation 24 in the plate 10 and a bolt 46 extending from the angle member 48 to engage by means of its hooked end 44 a hole 42 in the fixture flange 36. Indentations 20, 22 reinforce the ears 18, 19.
