Abstract

844,324. Shelf fittings. EVERTAUT Ltd. Jan. 23, 1959 [Feb. 1, 1958], No. 3379/58. Class 52(1) A shelf divider 1, for a metal shelf 2 having a front wall 3 and horizontal flange 4 to form a channel 5, has a vertical wall 6 and a horizontal base part 7 extended and bent down to provide a front wall 8 and flanges 9, 10 to embrace the walls 3, 4. Secured to and passing through wall 8 are a pair of spaced rubber pads 11 to frictionally retain the device against lateral movement. The device may be moved by raising it to fulcrum about the rear edge 4a of flange 4 to move the pads 11 away from wall 3. According to the Provisional Specification the rubber pads may be replaced by serrations engaging with co-operating serrations on the shelf edge.
