Abstract
1396798 Traps for sinks GUSTAVSBERGS FABRIKER AB 25 July 1972 [29 July 1971] 34819/72 Heading E1C A trap for a sink or similar liquid-containing unit comprises a housing 1 which is secured beneath an outlet opening in the sink or other unit by a threaded annular collar 3 engaging conical rim 9 and which is screwed into a socket 8 formed by a flange 7 on the housing, and a dip-tube 2 which is connected by a short thread of coarse pitch to the collar 3 whereby upon unscrewing half a turn the dip-tube may be removed upwardly through the collar 3 and sink opening. The housing 1 is sealed by a gasket 4 and comprises an upper section, a lower section 13 which includes an outlet connection 14, and an optional middle section 6 for connecting in a sink overflow connection 6'. Slots 22 in the tube 2, for leading liquid from the overflow connection into the tube, are omitted where section 6 is left out.
