Motors, gearing for.-The main elements 1, 2 of an electric motor rotate in opposite directions and drive bevel-wheels 5, 7 gearing with wheels 6, 8 on one of a pair of shafts 9 driving the road wheels directly, or, as shown, through chain gearing 10, 11. In a modification, the wheels 6, 8 drive the road wheels directly and the wheels 5, 7 are arranged on parallel shafts driven by chain gearing from the motor. According to the Provisional Specification, the two shafts 9 may be out of alinement and, further, when only @one shaft is driven, it may be divided for the addition of a differential gear.
