Abstract
123,413. Collins, J. N. Feb. 26, 1918. Valves.-The cylinders are arranged parallel to, and preferably symmetrically disposed about a central shaft b to which the drive is transmitted by the engagement of rollers constrained by guides i with a cam or cam-groove on a drum g secured to the shaft. The cam is shaped so that the shaft b makes one revolution during each complete fourshake cycle. A rotary valve n is carried by the shaft b and has passages by which the combustion chamber a<5> is put into communication with the inlet and exhaust pipes.
