Abstract
1734. Forster, G. Jan. 22. Reversing.-A four-stroke-cycle engine having radial revolving cylinders is reversed by interchanging the functions of the inlet and exhaust ports. The inlet and exhaust pipes are connected to common chambers D, D<1>, Fig. 6, the functions of which are interchanged by a valve V which places the chambers into communication with inlet and (xhaust passages C, F respectively.
