Abstract

122,596. Winkler, C. Aug. 19, 1918. Inking-apparatus.-A bearing for the inking- roller is adjusted about a pivot pin 5 by screws 20 bearing against a bolt 21, and a slide 4 is adjusted vertically in the frame 6 of the bearing by a screw 18. Bolts 21, 23 clamp the bearing in the adjusted position. The spindle of the inking-roller lies in an eccentric bore 3 in a pin 2, which can be withdrawn by means of a knob 10 to enable the spindle end to be lifted out through a gap 15; before this can be done the pin 2 is turned until a stud 7 is in line with a groove 14. By turning the pin 2 the inking-roller is moved to or from an adjacent roller. Pins 11, 13 projecting from the knob 10 engage recesses in the bearing 1 and pin 2. The pin 11 engages alternative recesses 1<1> to hold the inking-roller in its two positions.
