Abstract

[Also Division H1] A sealed box 2 containing electrical apparatus such as a loud-speaker 7 is attached by screws to an open or closed fronted box 1 at a sealing joint 3, the box 1 having entries for cables 18 providing connections, through connectors 14, 15, 16, 17, with the apparatus in the box. At each cable entry the outer protective hose 21 on each cable is secured by a clamping ring 25 to a sleeve 24 having a flange 26 secured by a threaded cup 23 to a nut 28 with a gasket 29, switches 8, 9 associated with the apparatus in the box 2 have operating members 10, 11 acting through sealing members 12, 13.
