Abstract

1,212,101. Making gas cartridges. ORSZAGOS KOOLAJ ES GAZIPARI TROSZT. 1 April, 1968 [14 April, 1967], No. 15671/68. Heading B3A. [Also in Divisions F2 and F4] The discharge end of a household carbon dioxide container 1, Fig. 1, is closed by a pierceable diaphragm 4 made integral with the container neck 2 and the opposite filling end 9, Fig. 8, is closed by a portion 6 of an internal resilient cup member 5 being urged by the internal gas pressure against an inturned portion 8 of the container bottom as shown in Fig. 8. During charging, the gas passes between spaced external ribs 7 of member 5. In a modification the charging gas passes through grooves formed by indentations in the cup member. The container is made of coldextruded aluminium and is discarded when empty.
