Abstract

1,204,069. Pulverulent fuel fin furnaces. C.B.P. ENG. & CONSTRUCTION Ltd. 1 April, 1969 [16 May, 1968; 26 Sept., 1968], Nos. 23462/68 and 45757/68. Heading F4B. Pulverulent fuel is fed to a boiler furnace through a number of apertures in the boiler shell, each of which has an isolating valve so that the pipe line supplying air and fuel may be repaired without danger of blow back. The valves may be two-part sliding valves operated by bevel gearing or pneumatically or hydraulically.
