Abstract

Jib cranes.-To erect and lower a hinged derrick post 1, a stay 3 fitted to the movable part of the post near its hinge 2 is connected to an eyebolt 5 or the like at a distance from the hinge and to hauling tackle 6 taking in a winch 14. The stay is removably swivelled in lugs 15 projecting from the post.
