Abstract

1,197,477. Lifting goods from racks. FINSPA ENG. CO. Ltd. 16 Aug., 1968 [31 Oct., 1967], No. 49382/67. Heading B8H. A lift 17 for removing goods from racks 10 in a warehouse has controls 19 and is supported between guides 16 by a crab 13 which runs on rails 15 between the racks. The crab is suspended from an auxiliary trolley 22 which runs on rails 21 so that the crab 13 may be moved from one row of racks to the next. Hoist and traverse motors are controlled from within the lift which has a gate 20 and a further end opening, not shown.
