Abstract

1,207,146. Shelf stacking device. DEMAGZUG G.m.b.H. 13 Nov., 1967 [30 Dec., 1966], No. 51549/67. Heading B8E. A device for stacking shelves with elongate material or containers therefore comprises a left platform running on rails between the shelves. The lifting platform mounts three parts which operate to place the goods on the shelves. The lower base part is extendable from the platform into engagement with bearer means on the shelf structure and mounts an intermediate part extendable further outwards from the base part. The intermediate part mounts a load carrier raisable therefrom by jack means. The extension of the base and intermediate parts is by means of indep ndent electric motors driving independent chain drive means. With the load carrier raised the parts are extended to position the load over the appropriate shelf supports, whereupon the carrier is lowered by its jacks to deposit the good thereon and allow withdrawal of the parts.
