Abstract
1,196,565. Rotary positive-displacement pumps. COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE. Oct. 14, 1968 [Oct.25, 1967], No.48608/68. Heading F1F. Pumping apparatus includes a rotary driving- shaft 1 coupled by level gears 10, 11 and 26, 27 to a nutatory piston 6 and a gyratory piston 19, the working fluid being directed through the apparatus along the path f 1 to f 5 , which is such that pumping is effected by each piston in two stages. Neither of the pistons rotates with the shaft 1. Bellowsseals 14, 28 are provided as shown to prevent lubricant entering the working spaces.
