Abstract
1,191,675. Switch contacts. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Inc. 6 Oct., 1967 [3 Jan., 1967], No. 45660/67. Heading H1N. [Also in Division C7] An alloy for making electrical contacts consists, by weight of CdO 1-20%, Ru or Hg 0À001-0À5%; Ag and impurities-balance. In one form of contact, strips 7 of the alloy are bonded to Ag layers 9, which are then bonded through solder layer 11 to metal strip 13 of, e.g. brass, beryllium copper or phosphor bronze.
