Abstract

1,190,027. Electric contact. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Inc. 6 Oct., 1967 [3 Jan., 1967], No. 45658/67. Heading H1N. [Also in Division C7] A CdO dispersion hardened silver alloy (see Division C7) is used for electric contacts. Exemplary contacts are the stud contact of Fig. 2 (not shown) and the contact of Fig. 3 in which strips 7 of the alloy are bonded to layers 9 of Ag and then liquid-phase bonded or soldered by layers 11 to a metal (e.g. brass, Be-copper or phosphor bronze) strip 13.
