1290502 Switch contacts W C HERAEUS GmbH 14 Oct 1969 [14 Oct 1968] 50537/69 Heading H1N [Also in Division C7] Switch contacts are formed by sputtering contact material, e.g. W, Mo, Pt, Pd, Ir, Rh, Au, Ag, Re or Ru on to a carrier of, e.g., Fe-Ni, German silver, brass, bronze, Cu, Ag or Ni. A further layer of, e.g., Au, Ag, Pt or Pd may be applied. The sputtering atmosphere may be such as to deposit a metal nitride, carbide or boride. The carrier may be in the form of a strip masked to form contacts at the desired points.
