Abstract
1,188,310. Sky lights. EVERLITE A/S. 22 Nov., 1967 [30 Nov., 1966], No. 53034/67. Heading E1R. In a skylight support 1 provided at its top with a condensate gutter 4 e.g. of zinc or aluminium sheet and a covering 2 on the upper side of the support 1 which may form part of a frame for the lights 12, 13, Structural parts 10, 11, of thermally insulating material such as foam-plastic or-elastomers, e.g. foam neoprene are placed between the covering 2 and the gutter 4 and in a zone between the drain channel 8 of the gutter and at least part 5 of the gutter projecting inwardly into the support. The cover 2 has an obliquely inwardly projecting flange 3 and the gutter has an opposing lip (7, Fig. 2), the thermally insulating strip 10 being located between the flange 3 and lip (7) and the strip 11 being located between the flange 5 of the gutter 4 and the junction therewith of the drain gutter 8. The invention is shown as applied to the skylight described and claimed in Specification 1188019.
