Abstract

The heat-insulating panel is composed of two pressure-resistant, thin covering layers (4, 3) and of a heat-insulating layer (2) which lies therebetween and is many times thicker. At one panel edge, the covering layers (3, 4) project slightly beyond the heat-insulating layer (2). At the opposite panel edge, the covering layers (4, 3) are bent off (11, 12) inwards by approximately the thickness of the layers. This makes it possible for the panel edge, which is reduced in thickness by the bent-off portions, to be pushed into that edge of an identical panel which is provided with projecting covering layers. The resulting panel arrangement, e.g. for a roofing skin, is of the same thickness throughout.
