Abstract

118,530. Attree, T. J. Nov. 28, 1917. Mixing air and gas.-To enable an engine which normally receives its charge from a carburettor to be run on coal or like gas, the air inlet B of the carburettor is fitted with a cone A. into which projects a gas-supply tube C connected to the gas reservoir by tubing D. To vary the proportion of air to gas, the tube C is adjustable in a sleeve E carried by straps F and is held in its adjusted position by a screw G.
