Abstract
1,176,210. Nickel base alloy. UNION CARBIDE CORP. March 23, 1967 [March 25, 1966] No. 13709/67. Heading C7A. A nickel base alloy comprises: - Al 1.28-2.5% B 0.003-0.012% C 0.03-0.13% Cr 14-17% Mo 6-9% Ti 2.24-3.5% V 0.65-1.35% W 1-3% Co up to 2% Fe up to 4.5% Si up to 0.12% the balance, apart from impurities such as Mn, Zr, Ta and Nb which must be essentially absent, being Ni. The alloys may be forged and/or rolled at 1149‹ C., annealed at 1121‹ C. for 30 minutes, water quenched, aged for 16 hours at 760‹ C. and then cooled in air.
