Abstract

117,614. Motosacoche Soc. Anon. and Isliker, A. July 4, 1917, [Convention date]. Force-feed lubricating. -Oil is drained from the separate compartments a, b &c. of the crank casing of a two-stroke-cycle internal-combustion engine by a single rotary pump s provided with a rotary distributor u which places the suction side of the pump in communication with the compartments successively. The oil is delivered by the pump to a filter and reservoir. The pump and distributor are driven by gearing t, so arranged that each compartment is drained at the same period in the cycle of the corresponding piston.
