A low yield point and a non-strain ageing steel containing below 0À12% C, below 0À6% Mn and 0À01-0À15% V is formed by first coiling hot rolled plate at 680-760‹ C. followed by cold rolling and annealing at 630-730‹ C. and finally temper rolling the annealed plate.
