Abstract
1,165,613. Transformers. ELECTRICAL REMOTE CONTROL CO. Ltd. 16 April, 1968 [19 April, 1967], No. 18090/67. Heading H1T. A cover 7 of an insulating housing 6 provides access to primary and secondary coils 4, 5 on a laminated core 1 connected to primary and secondary terminals, the two systems being completely insulated, and every direct path between the terminals being cut by insulation. The insulation comprises bobbins 2, 3 and a covering 13 having walls 16, 17 forming compartments 18, 19, 20. 18 and 20 contain terminal blocks having leads extending to the windings via tubes 15. A fuse holder in 19 may be connected to the secondary terminal via an opening 21. Holes 22, 23, 24 provide access to the fuse and terminal blocks. A grommet moulded to a mains cable engages a member 25. The housing 6 and cover 7 are of resilient, acid resistant, water impervious material such as moulded rubber. Screws 9 extending into inserts 10 have their heads lying in recesses 11 filled by adhesive coated bars 12.
