Abstract

1,160,740. Suspension filing folders. T. F. BOLTER. 5 Dec., 1967 [8 Dec., 1966], No. 55027/66. Heading B6E. A suspension filing folder 1, Fig. 1, has its suspension bar 2 made of a metal strip which is folded into a channel member to provide a pair of parallel arms 3 between which is received one end of the filing folder and the ends of the suspension bar. These ends have a recess 4 for engagement with respective suspension rails (not shown), and are fitted with synthetic thermoplastic, noise suppressing inserts 6 received between the arms 3, the latter being deformed about the inserts. The inserts 6, Fig. 3, have a beaded section 12 and a recessed section 10 conforming to the configuration of the ends of the suspension bar as well as a recess 9 intended for engagement of the suspension rail and formed by legs 7, 8.
