Abstract

1,159,606. Pipe sleeve. ANTON JENSEN & CO. A.S. 30 Sept., 1966, No. 43851/66. Heading F2G. A sleeve 2 of thermoplastic plastics material, for use in partitions through which a pipe 1 is to pass, is provided on the whole length of the outer face with a screw thread 3 for the inner thread of a sealing collar 6, 9, the inner face of the sleeve having longitudinal inwardly extending ribs 4. The hole in the collar is preferably sharp edged and seal members 10, 11 may be provided. At the lower end of the sleeve the inner ribs may be removed and the annular space filled with incombustible material such as asbestos fibre or glass-wool. An annular groove 12 permits the collar to accommodate obliquity or unevenness of the partition face. Two sleeves may be joined by a screwed sleeve (5, Fig. 3, not shown).
