Abstract

1,147,142. Oil burners. JAMES HOWDEN & CO. Ltd. 24 March, 1966 [8 June, 1965], No. 47559/68. Divided out of 1,147,141. Heading F4T. A burner with a rotary tube 20 and wheel 24 to spray fuel into a combustion chamber and an impeller 26 to cause a flow of combustion air into the chamber has fuel supplied to an annular cup 8 from which it is lifted by rotation of a sleeve 17 co-operating with a helical groove 16 in a stationary core member 13, the air flow being arranged to cool the reservoir 8 and the motor driving the sleeve 17 and impeller.
