Abstract

1,140,546. Spray carburetters. BENDIX CORP. March 29, 1966 [March 29, 1965], No.13720/66. Heading F1B. In a carburetter having an idling tube 38 supplying fuel to the idling orifices 56, 58, 60, the fuel flow to the main fuel nozzle 30 is controlled by adjustment of the tube 38. The fuel to the nozzle 30 flows through orifices 32, main restriction 36 and a metering restriction 40 in the tube 38 the ring of which is controlled by moving the tube by adjusting screw 48 relative to a stationery shoulder 50. Aerating air for the main nozzle is supplied through passage 42 and orifices 46.
