A printed sheet 2 which has been folded at A between flaps 3 and stops 4 on a creaser-flap cylinder 5 in co-operation with a creaser-blade cylinder 1 is then carried by the cylinder 5 into co-operation with a second crasser-blade cylinder 8 having a blade 9 co-operating with flaps 6 and stops 7 to form a transverse crease B, the sheet between A and B being held flat against the cylinder 5 by a presser member 10 and by air blown from nozzles in a blown strip 11 mounted on the member 10 or on a fixed frame. Air from further nozzles 16 strip the sheet from the cylinder 5 when the flaps 3 are opened.
