Abstract

1,137,403. Garment suspenders. WILLIAM PRYM - WERKE K.G. 13 Dec., 1965, No. 40995/68. Divided out of 1,137,402. Heading E2B. A garment suspender comprises an elongated strap member 68 attachable at one end to a garment and having a free end at the other, a stud 73 secured to one face of the strap at the free end, and a buckle 69 lying against the one face adjacent the free end, and a clamping securing the buckle to the one free so as to be engageable by the stud. As shown, the buckle which may be made from a plastics material is clamped to the strap by means of a pronged fastener 70, or by means of a clasp (87) Fig. 6 (not shown) which is applied over a fold in the strap in which that end of the buckle is located. In another arrangement Fig. 4 (not shown) a looped portion (93) of the strap is folded back over the end of the buckle and secured by a fastener (77).
