Abstract
1,136,838. Spray-producers. HOERBIGER VENTILWERKE A.G. 13 June, 1967 [20 July. 1966], No. 27239/67. Heading B2F. A lubricant atomizer comprises a lubricant container 1 supporting a spray head 2 provided with a passage 4 for the flow of compressed air, a feed pipe 11 for the delivery of lubricant to the container, a valve 16, 18 mounted on the head and adapted to control the flow of lubricant into the container, and a float 20 located around a riser tube 5 for the lubricant in the container and arranged to actuate the closure member 18 of the valve via a pivoted lever 19 whereby the lubricant level is maintained within narrow limits. Lubricant reaches the passage 4 from the tube 5 via passages 21, 6 and 7 and a drip cowl 3, the flow being controlled by a throttle screw 22. The valve member 16 is positioned in a web-shaped adapter 14 and the container is pressurized by a duct. not shown.
