Abstract

1,132,584. Two - part couplings. KEYSWITCH RELAYS Ltd. 14 Dec., 1965 [3 Feb., 1965], No. 4626/65. Heading H2E. To ensure correct coupling of a multi-pin plug- and-socket assembly, either the plug or socket part has a cavity provided with an adjustable insert which blocks a chosen portion of the cavity, leaving an open portion for receiving an adjustable pin located in a corresponding position on the mating part of the assembly. As described, the insert and the pin are hemihexagonal and are locatable in any one of the six angular positions in hexagonal cavities.
