Abstract

1,170,242. Two-part couplings. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 6 Feb., 1967 [9 March, 1966], No. 10285/66. Heading H2E. A plug-and-socket connector unit comprises a moulded body having at least one projecting socket and a number of conductive pins equal to the number of sockets, the pins and sockets being so disposed that the body mates with an exactly similar body. As shown, Fig. 6, pins 11 and conductive, resin-encased, sockets 12 are located at one end of a synthetic resin body. Other units (Figs. 1 to 5, not shown) may be formed in the same mould, unwanted parts of the mould being blocked off.
