Regulation, automatic systems and apparatus for.-In regulating the excitation of a generator, a voltage or current coil acts on an oscillating armature carrying two contacts, in one extreme position, a demagnetizing winding in series with a resistance is shunted, while in the other extreme position the main exciting winding is shunted.
