Abstract

The formation of a low pressure area at the tip 8 of a gaseous, liquid or pulverized fuel burner 2 mounted at the centre of an air register 1 is prevented by radial or non radial vanes 10 of triangular shape disposed within the air register. The latter comprises non-radial rotatable doors 4 and is disposed in a wind box 3. The burner is surrounded by a tube 7 which also supplies air to the burner.
