1,125,480. Resilient mounting for furniture. G. E. HORNSBY. 29 Dec., 1966, No. 58106/66. Heading A4V. In a shock absorbing mounting, for a bed, television set &c., the stem 21 of a castor wheel is rotatably received in a sleeve 22 of a T-shaped attachment member 23 which includes a plate 23, passing through a slot 26 in a hollow leg section 16, and a bar or rod 24 slidingly supported within the leg section by springs 30, 31. A plug 18 screw-threadedly engages the lower end of the leg, and a plug 32 is slidably adjustable by a bolt 34 passing through aligned slots 36, 37 and secured by a butterfly nut, for adjustment of the spring pressure. The T-shaped member may be made in a single piece.
