Abstract

112,400. Hagens, H. Sept. 5, 1917. Force-feed lubricators.-In a pump lubricating- system for internal-combustion engines having a by-pass connected to the engine throttle so as to reduce the supply of lubricant at low speeds, the by-pass comprises a piston valve B having an opening d connecting the supply and delivery pipes a, e and a groove b connecting the pipe a to a pipe c leading to the reservoir. The pipe c is fitted with a regulating-valve C. One or a pair of piston valves B are operated by a link D pivoted in the same axial line as the throttle lever on the carburettor.
