Abstract

1,122,357. Pressurized dispensing containers. SUNBEAM PLASTICS CORP. May 16, 1967, No. 22706/67. Heading F1R. A cap for a pressurized dispensing container comprises a cup shaped member having a number of circumferentially spaced retainers 34 at the lower end engageable under the rib 25 of a container. Expanders 35, the inner edges 36 of which lie on a circle of less diameter than the rib 25 are disposed above and between the retainers 34 and when in engagement with the rib 25 cause the retainers to move further inwardly under the rib. An aperture 38 is provided in a reinforced portion 37 so that a tool may be inserted therein to force the cap from the container.
