Abstract

992,040. Pressurised dispensing containers. SAMUEL TAYLOR PTY. Ltd. May 8, 1962 [May 8, 1961], No. 17621/62. Heading F1R. A top 11 for a pressurised dispensing container has a disc-like portion 21 having a central aperture 22 and depending inner and outer flanges 24, 23. A valve shell 12 is secured within the flange 24 by deforming the outer edge and the top is secured to the container by deforming the flange 23. In a modification the flange 24 is formed with resilient tongues and a head, indentations or an annular groove so that when the shell 12 is forced in the shoulder 18 is gripped.
