Abstract

1,120,525. Carrier frequency supply arrangement. SIEMENS A.G. 10 Aug., 1966 [11 Aug., 1965], No. 35706/66. Headings H4L and H4R. In an arrangement in which service and standby generators of a carrier frequency transmission system are connected to a load circuit in parallel and control means are provided to connect selectively the supply voltage to one or the other of the two generators, the output stages comprise transistors with diodes in their collector circuits to prevent current flow during half-cycles of forward potential when the supply voltage to that generator is off. The carrier supply is monitored by a relay which controls relays in the respective supply lines, and a manual reset key is provided. The arrangement is symmetrical and either generator may be connected to provide the normal supply.
