Trolly heads.-Trolly or collector wheels for electric tramcars are automatically alined with respect to the trolly pole when the wheel is not engaging the overhead conductor by means of an arm D, extending radially from the wheel-holder A, which engages an inverted V or U shaped recess R formed in the holder socket or an exten. sion J therefrom. The arm is raised to engage the shaped recess, when the wheel leaves the con. ductor, by a spring S. The arm may be duplicated and a pair of shaped recesses formed in the socket or extension. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13009/03 and 2279/04.
