Abstract

124,941. British Thomson - Houston Co., (General Electric Co.). May 10, 1918. Axle-trucks.-Relates to axle-trucks for electric locomotives and cars. Each motor casing 3 has a bracket 10 formed with an axle bearing 10 and with a pair of jaws 15 engaging with spring caps 13 which support the equalizer bars 5. The equalizer bars are centrally connected by a transom 4 having recesses to engage and support projecting studs 8 on the motor casings. Pin- and-slot connexions 17, 18 are provided between lugs on the motor casings and the equalizer bars.
