Abstract
1,104,534. Inductors. E. C. RECHEL. 2 June, 1966, No. 24582/66. Heading H1T. A terminal strip 14 (Fig. 5) is connected to the inner winding layer of an inductor 13 by passing its end through a pair of slits in the winding former so that the portion between the slits lies on the exterior of the former. A plurality of inductors, e.g. two, with such terminal strips can be made by passing a conductive strip (14) through pairs of adjacent slits in the former (10), (Fig. 2, not shown), so that portions (15), (15<SP>1</SP>) thereon lie on the outer surface of the former. Wire is then wound along the former making connection with the strip at (15), (15<SP>1</SP>) and the winding and former is severed, e.g. close to (15<SP>1</SP>) to make, e.g. two inductors. The long free portions of the parts of strip 14 are then pulled out of the interior of the former to provide a terminal strip for each inductor. This process may be applied to the manufacture of other coils.
