Abstract
1,102,772. Transformers. FRAKO KONDENSATOREN - UND APPARATEBAU G.m.b.H. 9 April, 1965 [10 April, 1964], No. 15318/65. Heading HIT. [Also in Division H2] A leakage transformer which is saturated at no load and designed to give constant output current between short-circuit and a voltage slightly below the no-load voltage comprises a U-shaped core section 50, a straight core section 51 retained by a clamping strip 53 and locking strip 54, and a stray field yoke 52 having air gaps. Section 51 carries the primary winding and section 50 carries a secondary winding 62, 63 divided into two parts as shown. Insulating plates 57, 57 carry the terminals and a resonance capacitor 59.
