Abstract

1,092,639. Exhaust silencers. PECO SILENCERS Ltd. June 23, 1965 [June 30, 1964], No.26911/64. Heading F1B. An exhaust silencer comprises inlet and outlet pipes 15, 16, projecting into the silencer casing 10, a baffle 18 with a connecting pipe 19 out of alignment with pipes 15, 16, and a partition 17 defining a space around pipe 16 packed with sound absorbing material such as glass wool. Pipe 15 is slotted at 20 and pipe 19 slotted on the opposite side at 21.
