1,084,281. Knitting. KLINGER MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd.March 23, 1964 [Dec. 21, 1962], No. 33341/62. Headings D1C and D1K. An outwvardly turned welt is produced on a stocking by setting up initial welt causes on the needles, retaining loops on uniformly spaced needles, knitting on all needles while the loops are still retained and then after the welt is complete knitting the retained loops in with the remainder of the fabric on the needles. The stitch cam is movable to knit at high or low levels and the sinkers are movable by a cam and have nebs at high or low levels.
