Abstract

1,084,191. Crates. NATIONAL PLASTICS Ltd. Jan. 18, 1965 [Jan. 17, 1964], No. 2133/64. Heading B8P. A moulded plastics crate has at least two inwardly convex arcuate portions 2, 3 on each side wall adjacent to each edge between the side walls 5, 6. The walls are inclined slightly outwards and reinforced by ribs 7, 8, 9. Hand holes 10 are formed in each side wall and reinforced by ribs 11, 12. Fillets 13 strengthen the corners of the ribs 8. The upper edge of the crate has projections 14 arranged to cooperate with projections 16 on the bottom of a crate superimposed in alignment or at rightangles on the lower crate. Fig. 4 (not shown). The base 18 is reinforced and has drainage holes, Fig. 3 (not shown).
